Stephanie A. Wynn Business Solutions provides branding, marketing and business development services to aspiring authors and entrepreneurs.

My entrepreneurship journey started at the age of 23 when I started my very first business an ice cream shop. I had no point of reference as to how to start a business which is what prompted me to write my book Readi-Set Go! A Simple Guide To Establishing A Successful Small Business (co-authored with Jeffrey White). I’ve always had a strong desire to help others.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, I worked for one of the largest financial institutions, JP Morgan Chase and former broker dealer INVEST Financial, working side by side with successful financial advisors and business savvy investors.

Stephanie believes giving back to the less fortunate is a key component of success. Stephanie understands the challenges of starting a business and finds joy in assisting those who don’t know where to begin or are afraid to take that important first step.

My entrepreneurship journey was quite different when compared to the average entrepreneur. In 2010, Stephanie lost two daughters. This was such a challenging time for me. I had never experienced anything like this before and my challenge was that I needed to be strong for my two sons and continue to push through.

Did I want to give up? Yes, Was it hard? Absolutely. Being an entrepreneur has its challenges and it is not for the weak or weary.

In addition to the lost of my two daughters, seven years later, during the publishing of my book I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease an Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This diagnosis was soo debilitating, I had lost my corporate job and I still had financial obligations but my health was most important.

You see, what I realized, is that you’ll always have distractions in life, some are going to be big and some are going to be small. Acceptance was so hard for me because I didn’t want to take medication. Medication was the only thing that saved my life at the time. I tried every diet known to mankind. When your body is soo angry natural diets will not help until your body resets itself. I learned one important thing during this journey. HEALTH is TRULY WEALTH!

While going through distractions, you will encounter people that will tell you that your business idea is not going to work, or that you should not do this very thing. You cannot listen to these people. Move away from them as quickly as possible.

The lessons that I learned along my entrepreneurship journey are:

To prepare for unexpected emergencies in your business, you must implement systems in the business so that when an emergency arise you can continue with the business at hand.
